Loro Piana hiring Modelling Specialist in Ghemme, Italy. Develop knitwear patterns using CAD; €30,000 annually, full-time permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to translate design sketches into workable patterns using CAD software or manual methods, coordinating with the knitting programming team
- Process and implement modifications during the defect review phase
- Develop base sizes and size gradations during the industrialization phase while maintaining the aesthetic and stylistic integrity of the original design
- Provide technical support to the Manufacturing and Sewing teams regarding garment execution and construction
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in patternmaking and textile production
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a modeller, preferably in the knitwear sector
- Diploma from a technical or patternmaking institute
- Proficiency in CAD software specific to textile and knitwear industries (preferably Lectra and/or Crea Solution)
- Competence with industrial flat machines
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and proven experience managing technical documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
- Fluent in English

Education
Diploma from a technical institute or specialized patternmaking programme.
Workplace
