Role & Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow patterns and technical instructions to assemble luxury handbags autonomously.
  • Prepare and dye individual leather components and the completed bag to required colour and finish specifications.
  • Assemble and mount all prepared and dyed pieces into the final product, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
  • Perform quality checks throughout assembly to ensure compliance with the brand's craftsmanship and finishing standards.
  • Support and collaborate with sewing operations, including operation of or liaison with sewing machine operators.
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor junior colleagues or trainees during on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leather goods assembly; demonstrable experience with luxury handbag construction (10 years preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of fine and exotic leathers, in particular crocodile and other high‑end skins.
  • Proven familiarity with leather dyeing, finishing and material selection for premium products.
  • Practical experience with industrial and/or artisanal sewing machines.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills and willingness to instruct apprentices and junior staff.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

Experience

At least 5 years of hands‑on experience assembling leather goods for the luxury segment; candidates with 10 or more years working with fine and exotic skins are strongly preferred.

Education

Vocational qualification in leather goods manufacturing, fashion or related craft discipline preferred; equivalent apprenticeship or on‑the‑job experience accepted.
