Loro Piana seeks a Leather Goods Assembler for its Impruneta production unit to independently assemble bags, including those made with fine leathers. The full-time, permanent position is governed by the Italian Textile, Clothing and Fashion national collective agreement and company supplementary agreement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret instructions in patterns.
- Dye individual leather pieces and completed bags.
- Assemble prepared and dyed components into finished bags.
- Verify that bag assembly meets quality standards.
- Support sewing activities.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience assembling fine and other leathers.
- Knowledge of assembly techniques for luxury women’s and men’s bags.
- Excellent knowledge of fine leathers, particularly crocodile.
- Established knowledge of leather goods materials and products.
- Knowledge of sewing machines.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to share expertise with trainees.
- Precision and a strong sense of responsibility.
