Loro Piana seeks a Leather Edge Painter in Impruneta, Tuscany, to finish luxury handbags using hand and machine techniques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Color the edges of luxury-material handbags independently, by hand and by machine.
- Sand the edges.
- Brush the edges.
- Apply the final edge color by hand and by machine.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a colorist working with luxury and other leathers.
- Knowledge of handbag coloring techniques in the luxury women’s and men’s segments.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury leathers, particularly crocodile.
- Established knowledge of leather goods materials and products.
- Knowledge of coloring machines.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to pass on know-how to trainees.
- Precision and a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 28,000 per annum.
