Loro Piana seeks a Laundry Technician in Ghemme, Italy. Full-time permanent role in textile finishing operations starting at EUR 23,200 annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the department supervisor to optimise washing and finishing processes
- Execute manual operations including loading/unloading of industrial machinery and operation of commercial laundry equipment to develop comprehensive knowledge of departmental workflows
- Develop and share specialized knowledge on the effects of finishing agents on diverse natural fibres during thermal washing and drying cycles
- Monitor work quality to ensure strict compliance with established company standards
- Manage daily activities with precision, adhering to established timelines and ensuring operational continuity
- Utilize company IT systems for data management and departmental workflow documentation
- Propose procedural and technical improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in textile or laundry operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of textile industry context, preferably in knitwear manufacturing
- Strong proficiency with computer systems and IT tools
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Team collaboration skills and propensity for leadership
- Understanding of finishing agent effects on natural fibres (preferred)
- Prior experience in industrial textile processing (preferred)
