The Knitwear Linking Machine Operator works in the garment-making department, joining knitted garment parts and semi-finished pieces with linking machines to produce finished garments, prototypes, samples or production items, in line with processing cycles and assigned timings. The role is permanent and full-time, governed by the CCNL Tessile Abbigliamento Moda and the company supplementary agreement. Starting gross annual salary is EUR 24,700, with participation in a discretionary incentive plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Links fully fashioned knitwear using linking machines at different gauges, performing both straight-seam stitching and stitch-by-stitch linking along the final horizontal knitted course.
- Performs paired and overlapping seams.
- Identifies quality issues in knitted panels, including selvedge and panel perimeter, and checks that left and right sides are regular and symmetrical before joining.
- Distinguishes knit behavior and controls tension according to the work phase or sequence.
- Monitors work quality to ensure it meets required standards.
- Works with the department supervisor to optimize activities.
- Develops and shares role-specific knowledge.

- Excellent knowledge of linking machines and tools.
