The Knitwear Garment Assembler assembles knitwear components using a linking machine and hand-finishing techniques, ensuring precision and quality while meeting production cycles and deadlines. The role includes approximately six months of training followed by placement in the department; employment is fixed-term, full-time, and governed by the Textile, Clothing and Fashion national collective labour agreement and company-level agreement. Initial gross annual pay is EUR 23,946, subject to variation based on experience, skills, seniority and organisational needs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and semi-finished knitwear garments using a linking machine and hand-finishing techniques, maintaining high standards of quality and precision while meeting production cycles and assigned deadlines.
- Complete an initial training programme of approximately six months, including theoretical and practical lessons in equipped workshops, technical English terminology, Master Classes, educational visits and meetings with luxury-industry professionals; placement in the department follows the course.
- The training programme provides an attendance certificate from the Loro Piana Academy of Trades and an LVMH Institut des Métiers d’Excellence Certificate of Excellence for participants who meet the stated excellence, savoir-faire and savoir-être criteria.
