The Knitwear Design Intern supports Loro Piana’s Knitwear Product & Design Team with technical drawings, line sheets, technical sheets, color design, mood boards, image and material archiving, shoot and video preparation, styling, and presentations to RTL buyers. This is a full-time, six-month internship starting in October/November 2026, with gross monthly compensation of €800 and restaurant vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Knitwear Product & Design Team across activities related to its function.
- Assist designers with technical drawings by hand and using the company system, based on creative briefs.
- Prepare drawings for line sheets.
- Develop technical sheets.
- Support color design and mood board creation.
- Archive styling images and materials.
- Help organize materials for photo shoots and videos.
- Assist the stylist in creating looks for photo shoots and videos.
- Support technical presentations to RTL buyers.
Qualifications
- A degree in Fashion Design or a similar field; a focus on knitwear is an advantage.
- Excellent hand-drawing and computer-drawing abilities.
- Professional knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Italian.
- Problem-solving ability, precision, attention to detail, a collaborative attitude, and flexibility.
- Strong passion for the luxury sector.
