Loro Piana seeks an IT Logistics and Quality Solutions Specialist for its Supply Chain IT team in Milan, supporting the evolution of logistics processes, implementation projects, and existing industrial applications. The role is full-time and permanent, governed by the CCNL Tessile Abbigliamento e Moda and the supplementary company agreement; the starting annual gross base salary is EUR 42,000.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all Logistics IT activities at Loro Piana.
  • Liaise between central operations teams, warehouses, distribution centers, and external logistics partners to support logistics operations.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for Warehouse Management, Distribution, Transportation, and Logistics processes.
  • Support implementation, evolution, and maintenance of ERP and logistics applications in line with operational needs.
  • Maintain governance and operational continuity of implemented solutions, ensuring system reliability, data consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with software vendors and external partners to ensure effective service delivery and timely resolution of incidents and change requests.
  • Work with Technology and Cybersecurity teams on integrations, interfaces, and optimization of logistics systems and related technologies.
  • Partner with Corporate Functions and Operations teams to identify process improvements and translate them into IT solutions.
  • Support business analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and rollout of new functionalities and enhancements in line with IT best practices.
  • Monitor application performance and support service-level achievement through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and continuously improve Logistics and Warehouse Management solutions.
  • Autonomously manage the integrated TMS solution, coordinate vendors, and support end users.
  • Manage incidents, change requests, and enhancements related to logistics applications.
  • Coordinate with business users and operational teams to support efficient system adoption and process execution.
  • Support integrations between ERP systems, WMS platforms, and third-party logistics solutions.
  • Participate in logistics transformation and process digitalization projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT department supporting or managing applications or project activities in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Supply Chain environments.
  • Very good understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics processes, including warehouse operations, inbound and outbound flows, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
  • Proven knowledge of ERP systems and logistics applications, specifically SAP S4 and SAP EWM.
  • Experience with RFID and transportation systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments.

Experience
