Loro Piana is hiring an Industrial Quality Intern in Impruneta, Italy — a six-month on-site internship on the Quality team focused on FMEA, KPI reporting and testing coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Quality team at the Impruneta site during a six-month internship, contributing to daily quality activities across internal productions.
- Set up and maintain the weekly 'Quality Corner' at production sites and ensure ongoing upkeep of its materials and communication.
- Collect, trace and analyse quality data; populate and maintain quality KPIs and reporting dashboards.
- Draft and update quality control sheets and packaging control documentation for existing products.
- Design, optimise and continuously improve self-inspection procedures and shop-floor checks.
- Contribute to preliminary process FMEA and associated control plans.
- Coordinate testing activities for incoming materials and finished goods from planning through data analysis.
- Support structured problem-solving for production issues, process deviations and product non-conformities to minimise rework.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Industrial/Management Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable collaborating with production teams and cross-functional colleagues.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a methodical approach to data and documentation.
