Loro Piana is hiring a Human Resources Manager to support the full spectrum of HR activities across South-East Asia and Australia, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. The role supports HR process implementation and operational standards across assigned markets. Permanent, full-time, on-site position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition and retention for the market.
  • Propose recruitment channels, oversee recruitment and selection, and provide management with effective, cost-conscious recruitment solutions.
  • Partner with line managers to identify suitable talent and develop a pipeline for future roles.
  • Manage staff onboarding and orientation, ensuring new joiners receive the necessary company information.
  • Ensure compensation and benefits policies and practices are properly implemented in each market and comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Support monthly payroll and the calculation and validation of sales commissions and incentives.
  • Administer employee benefits and pensions in the local market as needed.
  • Conduct new-joiner induction and onboarding.
  • Identify employee skill gaps, align with the regional team on talent assessment and mapping, and implement development actions.
  • Develop formal and informal communication and feedback channels between the company and employees, identify issues, and pursue opportunities to improve employee engagement.
  • Organize staff activities, including employee gatherings, birthday celebrations, and annual parties, to improve team morale and engagement.
  • Support global and regional initiatives relating to Diversity & Inclusion, CSR, and internal employee communications.
  • Prepare HR reports requested by management, including headcount, cost, and turnover analyses.
  • Maintain HR personnel records and files accurately and on time.
  • Follow up on procedures and documentation after probation and for employment-status changes such as transfers and promotions.
  • Keep HR information, including employee lists and organization charts, current and accessible.
  • Address and resolve employee relations matters promptly and impartially, in accordance with local laws and internal policies, to promote a fair and respectful workplace.
  • Manage and resolve employee litigation matters in strict compliance with local employment laws.

Qualifications

  • A degree in HRM or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Hands-on HR experience in recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Substantial experience and exposure working across South-East Asia and Australia markets.
  • Experience in luxury retail or the retail industry is preferred.
  • Well versed in local labor regulations in the responsible markets.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and well organized, with strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure, and comfortable handling ambiguity.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
