The HR Administration and Payroll Manager will lead Loro Piana’s HR administration and payroll team supporting approximately 3,000 employees, overseeing compliant, accurate monthly payroll, employee lifecycle administration, incentive schemes, reporting, and process digitalisation. This is a full-time, permanent role governed by the CCNL Tessile Abbigliamento e Moda and the supplementary company agreement; the initial gross annual salary is EUR 65,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead HR administration and payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and compliance with applicable legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.
- Coordinate the collection and validation of monthly variable payroll inputs with HR Managers, using digital tools.
- Oversee the employee lifecycle with the team, from hiring and onboarding through salary reviews and incentive payments under the supplementary company agreement, ensuring correct application of procedures and legal requirements for attendance, bonuses, overtime, and allowances.
- Ensure accurate, timely submission of personnel-related accounting data to Finance and Accounting, and completion of mandatory tax and social security filings.
- Manage audits, labour inspections, and tax and social security reviews.
- Monitor HR administration data for quality, confidentiality, and compliance with internal controls.
- Drive process improvement, standardisation, and digitalisation initiatives using SAP HR and relevant ticketing and reporting tools.
- Lead the team responsible for HR administration and payroll activities for Loro Piana S.p.A., supporting approximately 3,000 employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable social security, tax, and accounting requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for the external payroll provider and internal stakeholders on HR administration matters; coordinate the team to ensure accurate, timely monthly payroll processing and oversee implementation of incentive schemes established under the current supplementary company agreement.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, Labour Law, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in personnel administration and payroll in Italy within complex, structured organisations.
- Strong accounting expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian labour, tax, and social security legislation, as well as the main national collective bargaining agreements (CCNLs).
- Previous experience coordinating teams and managing external payroll providers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Zucchetti and SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
