Loro Piana in Milan seeks a Global Quality Analyst Intern for a hybrid internship supporting KPI development, dashboarding and process improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, refine and maintain Quality performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the design and optimisation of dashboards for KPI monitoring.
- Support the drafting, revision and streamlining of Quality procedures and operational/technical work instructions.
- Assist the Global Quality team in root-cause analyses and problem-solving activities; help define and follow up corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct statistical studies of production processes to detect trends, variability and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with industrial/manufacturing teams to align quality metrics with shop-floor realities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce clear, data-driven reports and presentations for internal stakeholders using Excel and visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Statistics, Materials Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI and/or Minitab is a plus.
- Foundational knowledge of Six Sigma principles, statistical analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and an ability to interpret production data.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
