Loro Piana Finance Analyst Intern in Tokyo, Japan—support FP&A, budgeting, and retail analytics in a luxury environment. December 2026 start.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management presentations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Analyze sales, operating expenses, and profitability by store, channel, and product category
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions
- Monitor key retail KPIs including sales, Average Transaction Value (ATV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), conversion rate, and clienteling metrics
- Identify business trends and summarize performance insights
- Support weekly and monthly business reviews
- Consolidate data from SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools
- Maintain dashboards and reporting files with high accuracy
- Assist with expense tracking and invoice review
- Support month-end closing activities
- Monitor departmental budgets and identify potential risks or opportunities
- Support finance projects including store openings, renovations, lease and rent analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, Operations, HR, IT, and Merchandising
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, lookup functions, and basic financial modeling
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
- Japanese language skills at business level
- English language skills at business level
- Student with working eligibility in Japan
- Previous internship experience in Finance, Accounting, Consulting, Banking, or Retail (preferred)
- Interest in luxury retail and consumer goods industries (preferred)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (preferred)
