E-Commerce Intern at Loro Piana in New York | Support luxury fashion e-commerce operations and merchandising
Role & Responsibilities
- Support E-Commerce North America team across key functions including E-Commerce Merchandising, Operations, and Guest Services
- Assist in merchandise product ranking on the e-commerce website to optimize sales and conversion rates
- Contribute to weekly reporting tasks and analysis of key performance indicators and merchandising effectiveness
- Maintain and organize the merchandising section of the E-Commerce North America Activation Calendar
- Create trackers for monitoring performance across new product launches, store operations, transfers, and performance marketing campaigns
- Create and maintain templates for internal E-Commerce Bulletins
- Support Guest Services Team with operational requirements including order handling, warehouse returns, and inventory management
- Manage guest delighting opportunities by partnering with Guest Services
- Develop a competitive brand monthly e-commerce activation report on latest digital and e-commerce industry developments
- Run ad hoc analysis of e-commerce site performance on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as needed
- Monitor Global, US, and Canadian site updates and provide feedback to North America and headquarters teams
- React to ad hoc team and client requests as needed
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the digital space with respect to e-commerce, user experience, delivery experience, retail trends, and digital media
- Affinity for luxury, fashion, and leather goods with knowledge of recent and longer-term trends in the category
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting ability and capacity to present information succinctly to the e-commerce team
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ability to use and prepare reports, presentations, and analysis with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ability to understand and interpret key performance indicators
- Positive, collaborative, hands-on, and energetic attitude
Skills
Experience
Beginner-level experience in e-commerce or related digital retail environment preferred. Exposure to luxury retail or fashion industry is advantageous.
Education
Current enrollment in or recent completion of undergraduate studies in Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is USD 20 per hour.
