Loro Piana seeks a Cyber Security Defense Expert in Milan to lead SOC operations, incident response and vulnerability management for the luxury fashion maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Enhance and oversee the 3rd-party Security Operations Center, ensuring timely detection, triage and resolution of security events and incidents.
- Lead incident response and crisis management activities, including investigations, containment, remediation and post-incident lessons learned.
- Coordinate and supervise security testing activities (vulnerability assessments and penetration tests) to certify new architectures and initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate remediation programs such as patch management and vulnerability fixes, tracking remediation progress to closure.
- Assist the CISO in planning and coordinating outsourced cybersecurity projects (SIEM, EDR/AV, DLP, antispam, BAS, red team engagements, etc.).
- Plan and execute offensive security exercises (penetration tests, red teaming, bug bounty coordination) and configuration audits to proactively identify exploitable weaknesses.
- Maintain communication and alignment with Group security standards and regional stakeholders; support training and secure development initiatives with the IT team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
- Minimum 4–5 years' demonstrable experience in information security, with hands-on cyber defense responsibilities.
- Proven experience operating in SOC/CERT functions and incident handling.
- Practical administration experience with multiple cybersecurity platforms (EDR, SIEM, DLP, etc.).
- Familiarity with vulnerability management frameworks (CVE, CPE, CVSS) and secure development lifecycle concepts.
- Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GIAC, ISO 27001).
- Strong stakeholder management, autonomy, flexibility and a goal-oriented, problem-solving mindset.

Minimum 4–5 years in information security with proven hands-on experience as a cyber defense systems administrator and incident handler, including SOC/CERT operations, threat hunting, vulnerability management and offensive security activities.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
