Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise production during assigned shifts for the carding and blending (misturazione) departments, ensuring adherence to the production plan.
- Operate and oversee carding and blending machinery, optimising equipment utilisation and maintaining continuous workflow.
- Coordinate training and development of operators assigned to carding and blending processes to raise skills and operational reliability.
- Monitor product quality against defined specifications and manage non‑conformities, driving corrective actions and documentation.
- Enforce company procedures and legal requirements regarding safety, quality and environmental protection on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with the plant manager to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in textile carding/blending operations, with demonstrated supervisory duties.
- Technical diploma in textile technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent vocational qualification; higher education in textile engineering is advantageous.
- In‑depth knowledge of carding and blending processes and the characteristics of specialty fibres.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in troubleshooting and basic maintenance of textile machinery.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with a capacity to prioritise under production pressures.
