Loro Piana seeks Assistant Store Manager at Harbour City, Hong Kong; 7+ years luxury retail experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as store manager in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring seamless operational continuity
- Supervise and coach the sales team to maintain cohesion, motivation, and competence while fostering professional growth
- Provide ongoing guidance on product knowledge, training, and individual development plans
- Participate in setting and monitoring quantitative and qualitative sales goals, conducting monthly analysis and yearly performance evaluations
- Manage and support store supervisors in their daily activities and performance management
- Implement and enforce all internal procedures, ensuring compliance and timely correction of any deviations
- Lead customer relationship initiatives and coordinate clienteling activities to achieve CRM KPIs
- Directly manage relationships with Top/VIP customers while keeping the Store Manager informed
- Oversee visual merchandising standards, ensuring all displays and shop windows comply with central guidelines
- Ensure implementation of security procedures, asset protection protocols, and strongbox management
- Conduct asset loss prevention training in coordination with the Store Manager and Regional Operations Manager
- Supervise stock activities, stockroom management, and coordinate inventory optimization with the Stock Manager
- Support the Stock Assistant and oversee product care and material management in the stockroom
- Liaise with finance and operations departments on annual closures, inventory counts, and fiscal procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in luxury boutique environments, preferably as Store Manager in small contexts
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP Retail systems
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin Chinese
- Deep knowledge of clothing and luxury market history
- Strong understanding of brand identity and luxury retail standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
