Loro Piana is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Geneva. Lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in defining and implementing store-specific commercial strategies aligned with the brand vision and regional objectives.
- Drive day-to-day floor operations to maximise sales performance, profitability and client satisfaction; act as primary point of contact in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Lead, coach and develop the boutique team; ensure middle management delivers consistent operational execution and high service standards.
- Analyse sales figures, KPIs and trends; translate performance data into actionable plans and follow up on results.
- Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation to maintain brand guidelines and an elevated client experience.
- Support implementation of clienteling strategies to acquire, retain and deepen relationships with high-value clients.
- Control store expenses and assist in budget adherence to protect and optimise profitability.
- Monitor competitive landscape and local market trends to inform commercial actions and seasonal plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ retail experience; proven managerial experience in luxury retail (candidates with 7+ years in managerial roles preferred).
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L drivers at store level.
- Strong people-management skills with experience coaching supervisors and sales teams.
- Fluent in French and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of clienteling, luxury service protocols and visual merchandising standards.
