Loro Piana Boston seeks Assistant Store Manager with 5+ years luxury retail experience. Full-time, on-site role managing operations and VIP client relations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including task delegation, performance management, and delivery of premium service standards
- Identify opportunities for sales growth and operational efficiencies while facilitating communication between store team, Store Manager, and corporate partners
- Support the luxury sales process by maintaining exceptional service standards and managing VIP client relationships to reinforce brand prestige
- Oversee team performance through coaching, feedback, and professional development planning; participate in talent recruitment with HR partners
- Lead team meetings to communicate store performance metrics and strategic priorities
- Manage inventory operations including cycle counts, stock consolidations, and fiscal inventory procedures
- Oversee after-sales processes including alterations, repairs, and spare parts management
- Monitor store facilities and maintenance issues to ensure safety and operational functionality
- Control store expenses related to profit and loss, including shipping, supplies, and alterations
- Ensure visual merchandising alignment with corporate guidelines and maintain stockroom organization
- Enforce labor laws, safety procedures, and sales regulations in coordination with corporate support
- Model company values and role-model professional conduct
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management and sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong operational and inventory management knowledge
- Ability to travel and work weekends as required
- Physical capacity to lift and move up to 40 pounds
