Loro Piana seeks an Assistant Operations Manager in Beverly Hills, CA to lead retail back‑of‑house, inventory control and after‑sales operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the back‑of‑house team, providing coaching, setting objectives and managing performance in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Oversee shipment processing, transfers, cycle counts and regular audits to preserve inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Manage after‑sales operations including alterations, repairs, vendor coordination and reconciliation of movements.
- Ensure timely replenishment and movement of merchandise to the sales floor to support sales objectives and client needs.
- Track, report and analyze Operations KPIs (including after‑sales metrics) to inform leadership and support data‑driven decisions.
- Implement and maintain loss‑prevention, compliance and stockroom organisation standards to protect assets and improve selling efficiency.
- Support management of controllable operational expenses and contribute to strategies that reduce shrink and financial loss.
- Collaborate with sales teams to maintain exceptional client service standards and operational readiness on the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail operations or store management experience, ideally within luxury apparel or leather goods.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing small operational teams in a fastidious, client‑centric retail environment.
- Proven knowledge of inventory control methods, cycle counting, shipment processing and loss‑prevention programmes.
- Strong analytical ability with experience tracking KPIs and using data to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with sales, vendors and store leadership.
- Ability to work on‑site with flexible hours to support retail peak periods and operational demands.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in retail operations or assistant store management, preferably within luxury fashion, apparel or leather goods, with responsibility for back‑of‑house, inventory control and after‑sales processes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
