Loro Piana seeks experienced Accountant in Hong Kong for month-end closing, compliance, and South Asia financial operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage full accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, and fixed assets for South Asia entities
- Execute month-end closing procedures, account reconciliations, and journal entries while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
- Prepare accurate month-end balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve outstanding items
- Generate timely month-end financial reporting and disclosures with high accuracy standards
- Coordinate with external tax agents and outsourced accounting consultants for direct and indirect tax filing
- Liaise with external auditors on annual audits, statutory reporting, and local compliance requirements
- Support supervisors on internal control compliance, system implementations, process enhancements, and ad-hoc assignments
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, ACCA, or CPAA certification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is advantageous
- Bilingual fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency required
- Experience in multinational corporations, retail sector, and month-end closing for Asian markets
- Knowledge of local compliance requirements, tax filing, and statutory reporting
- Strong communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and self-motivation

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in month-end closing, accounts reconciliation, and compliance reporting. Prior exposure to multinational organizations, retail environments, and accounting operations across Asian markets is highly valued. Direct experience with local tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements is considered advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CPAA are preferred.
