About L’Oréal Luxe
L’Oréal Luxe is the L’Oréal division responsible for luxury fragrance, makeup and skincare. It operates beauty houses including Lancôme, Kiehl’s and Aesop, and develops products under licence for fashion houses including Prada and Giorgio Armani.
L’Oréal Luxe is hiring a Subcontracting Manager in Mönchengladbach to oversee an external distribution center, inventory, KPI reporting and co-packing solutions for Europe-wide promotions. The role is fixed-term from 1 January to 31 July 2027 to cover an employee’s temporary project assignment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee order preparation at the external distribution center, ensuring high-quality information and product flows and contributing to improvements across internal and external interfaces.
- Manage monthly inventory reconciliation and stocktaking at the external warehouse; contribute to inventory optimisation and the Second-Life process; administer and process the monthly invoice workflow.
- Produce ongoing KPI reports and independently develop action plans to improve results; support continuous process and performance improvement at the internal distribution center.
- Collaborate with brand and supply chain teams in more than ten countries.
- Support the development of co-packing solutions for Europe-wide promotions, taking marketing objectives and cost, legal, safety and customer requirements into account.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in business administration or engineering.
- Professional experience in supply chain planning processes is preferred; project management experience is an advantage.
- Quickly grasp new subjects and work analytically, conceptually and accurately, including on complex topics.
- Organised, solution-oriented, proactive and an effective communicator; able to work well in a team and coordinate different interfaces confidently.
- Fluent German and English.
