About L’Oréal Luxe
L’Oréal Luxe is the L’Oréal division responsible for luxury fragrance, makeup and skincare. It operates beauty houses including Lancôme, Kiehl’s and Aesop, and develops products under licence for fashion houses including Prada and Giorgio Armani.
The Quality Management and Quality Assurance Manager leads the quality team at L’Oréal Luxe’s Caudry manufacturing site, overseeing its Quality Management System, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, employee training and batch record release. The role is permanent and requires at least 8 years of quality experience in the cosmetics, food-processing or pharmaceutical industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and mobilize a team around the site’s major projects and factory objectives.
- Monitor the team’s activity indicators and adjust staffing according to tasks and factory priorities.
- Establish, implement, lead and verify the site’s Quality Management System, and report its performance and indicators to the Executive Committee.
- Ensure compliance with Group and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, prioritize and manage the quality assurance action plan based on risks, inspection and audit findings, and risk analyses, to continuously improve the factory’s quality performance.
- Lead compliance projects through Change Control to assess impacts and identify solutions in coordination with other factory departments.
- Ensure all employees are trained in Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices and other applicable standards.
- Challenge teams and department managers when irregularities, non-conformities or early warning signs are identified.
- Ensure the review, verification, validation and release of batch records.
- Assume the Quality Manager’s responsibilities for department management in their absence.
Qualifications
- A Bac+5 qualification in a quality-related field.
- At least 8 years of quality experience in the cosmetics, food-processing or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong potential, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to drive change.
