L’Oréal is seeking a Processing Shift Leader in Piscataway, New Jersey, to lead bulk processing operations and team development across mixing, cleaning, and transfer activities. This permanent, full-time rotating-shift position offers a salary range of $95,000–$120,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a full shift of bulk processing activity and own team performance and development.
- Coach, onboard, and develop operators across multiple skills, building safety awareness and technical autonomy on the shop floor.
- Direct mixing, cleaning, and transfer activities to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable shift execution.
- Drive right-first-time output while reducing downtime, waste, and rework; manage shift handovers to ensure continuity.
- Lead first-level investigations, autonomous maintenance, and rapid resolution of process deviations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing hourly employees in a manufacturing setting.
- Manufacturing experience, ideally in bulk, batch, or process production; cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing experience is considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
- Working knowledge of safety and quality standards, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with MS Office and other digital shop-floor tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis; immigration sponsorship is not offered.
