L’Oréal Luxe is the L’Oréal division responsible for luxury fragrance, makeup and skincare. It operates beauty houses including Lancôme, Kiehl’s and Aesop, and develops products under licence for fashion houses including Prada and Giorgio Armani.
L’Oréal Luxury Products Division is seeking a Fragrance Expert to represent its brands across in-store and online customer experiences, drive sales and loyalty, and deliver fragrance expertise to customers, beauty advisors and media. The permanent, full-time role includes event collaboration, coaching peers, stock and operational responsibilities, and participation in PR and online events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent the brand as an ambassador, delivering excellent service to customers in store and online.
- Educate customers and beauty advisors on fragrance expertise and promote brand awareness through in-store events.
- Represent the brands’ fragrance expertise to press and audiences online and in store; collaborate with marketing on event development, animations and product feedback.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of brand categories, products and services; attend and apply brand training; monitor Icon products; track competitors’ products and activity and account performance relative to department performance; stay informed about the beauty market; provide expert fragrance advice and personalized service.
- Drive sales growth through exceptional in-store service, animations and events; track account, personal and key performance indicator targets; complete personal paperwork accurately and on time; follow store rules and regulations; manage stock according to brand and point-of-sale needs; propose creative business development ideas focused on product launches and anniversaries.
- Build customer loyalty and generate retail sales through successful in-store events; make personalized product and sample recommendations; focus on link selling and recruiting new customers; communicate and present confidently to customers in store and online.
- Deliver exemplary luxury service; demonstrate passion for people and products; follow grooming guidelines; maintain a clean, hygienic work area and follow hygiene rules; create welcoming, inspiring and personalized customer experiences.
- Coach peers, follow up and provide feedback to the Training Manager and Field Manager; foster team spirit; lead by example; share fragrance artistry expertise and experience with customers and beauty advisors; work effectively with store, field and head-office colleagues; coach and demonstrate the brands’ retail tactics for retail excellence.
- Participate in PR and online events; develop positive relationships with journalists, influencers and other media; contribute to the brands’ makeup expertise offline and online.
