The Counter Manager leads a beauty retail team at the Biotherm counter at Hangzhou Hubin Intime, driving sales, service, consumer relationships, compliant operations and team development. The role is full-time and includes brand training, performance bonuses, social insurance and housing fund, supplementary medical insurance, company benefits, and paid annual and sick leave.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to achieve sales targets; manage, allocate and track performance indicators.
- Raise counter service standards, deliver an excellent consumer experience and strengthen consumer relationships.
- Manage counter consumer relationships and develop plans to retain existing clients and attract new ones.
- Maintain strong partnerships with department stores and shopping centres, support their initiatives and build the brand’s reputation in the local retail district.
- Monitor market trends and competitors, identify the counter’s strengths and develop sales opportunities.
- Oversee compliance with company policies across the counter and team, and uphold the brand image.
- Use and maintain beauty retail systems, beauty equipment and digital tools relevant to the counter.
- Manage counter products and inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and records.
- Track team performance, identify gaps, coordinate training, recommend solutions and coach team members.
- Manage, motivate and develop team members.
- Ensure staffing levels meet counter business needs and allocate schedules and tasks appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team members, relay information between teams and management, build team loyalty, encourage openness and collaboration, and maintain high morale.
