Longines seeks a part-time Sales Advisor in Vienna (Graben 29) to deliver personalised service in the Longines boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised, high‑touch service to boutique clients, advising on Longines timepieces and matching clientele to suitable models and complications.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and follow‑up with prospective purchasers.
  • Maintain boutique visual standards: merchandising, window presentation and housekeeping consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system and handle cash, card and store paperwork securely.
  • Manage stockroom operations including inventory control, reception of new merchandise and loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Support after‑sales service coordination and liaise with service centres or headquarters for repairs and warranty enquiries.
  • Represent the brand at in‑store events and support local marketing initiatives to build the client base.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in luxury retail, jewellery or watch boutiques; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with polished client‑facing presentation and the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and attention to detail in transactions and stock control.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and peak retail hours; ability to work 20 hours per week as specified.
  • Legal right to work in Austria and permitted to work in Vienna without restriction.

Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in luxury retail or boutique sales, preferably with watches, jewellery or premium fashion brands; previous boutique or concierge sales experience strongly preferred.

Education

Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certificate in retail, luxury goods, hospitality or a related discipline preferred.
