Longines seeks a Luxury Store Manager in Santa Clara, CA to lead boutique operations, sales and client relations for the Longines boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily boutique operations to meet and exceed sales targets, profitability and KPI objectives.
- Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing sales team; set schedules, conduct coaching and appraisals, and manage performance improvement.
- Deliver exemplary clienteling and relationship management for high-net-worth and repeat clients, including bespoke appointment handling and after-sales follow-up.
- Ensure consistent adherence to Longines brand standards for visual merchandising, store presentation and customer service.
- Manage inventory, stock transfers, replenishment and shrinkage control in coordination with regional supply chain and retail operations teams.
- Oversee cash handling, POS operations and daily financial reconciliations; prepare regular sales and operational reports for regional management.
- Plan and execute local store events, product launches and CRM initiatives to drive traffic and deepen client engagement.
- Implement loss-prevention measures and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and health & safety standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and wholesale teams on local activations, digital/omnichannel initiatives and store-level merchandising campaigns.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record in luxury retail management, ideally within watches, jewelry or premium accessories.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams to achieve consistent sales performance and exceptional service.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L drivers, inventory and store KPIs.
- Excellent clienteling skills and experience cultivating relationships with affluent clientele.
- High standards of personal presentation and deep familiarity with luxury retail brand standards.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of progressive retail experience, with at least two years in a managerial role within luxury watches, jewellery or a comparable premium retail environment. Experience leading teams, managing store P&L and delivering high-touch client experiences is required.
Education
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
