Longines seeks a Luxury Retail Keyholder in Santa Clara, CA — responsible for opening/closing, sales leadership and client service at The Swatch Group boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for store opening and closing procedures, safe custody, and keyholder security protocols.
- Lead the sales floor in the absence of senior management: coach advisors, prioritize service, and drive conversion to meet boutique KPIs.
- Deliver exceptional client service and bespoke clienteling for high-value watch clientele; develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and product placement to reflect Longines brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Operate POS and cash-handling procedures, maintain accurate transaction and till reconciliation, and prepare daily sales reporting.
- Oversee inventory control tasks including stock replenishment, receiving, cycle counts and shrinkage prevention measures.
- Handle escalated customer enquiries and service recovery while liaising with after-sales and warranty departments when necessary.
- Support loss-prevention initiatives and ensure compliance with brand security and retail policies.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales, preferably within watches or jewelry.
- Demonstrable leadership or keyholder experience with responsibility for opening/closing and till custody.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, client-focused sales approach.
- Ability to interpret and act on sales KPIs and daily performance metrics.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
- High standards of personal presentation and professional representation of the Longines brand.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in luxury retail sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, keyholder or lead-sales capacity; experience with watches or fine jewelry strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail, hospitality or luxury-brand training preferred.
