Longines is seeking a Key Account Sales Specialist to manage assigned retail and travel retail accounts, analyze sales and inventory performance, support forecasting and planning, and coordinate orders and cross-functional commercial initiatives. The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience, preferably SAP; salary and an annual bonus are included.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned retail and travel retail accounts.
- Support account planning and commercial initiatives to drive sales growth and business performance.
- Monitor account performance against sales objectives and identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in business reviews, account meetings, conferences, and customer events as needed.
- Review weekly sales performance and provide replenishment recommendations.
- Coordinate new door openings, account setup, assortment planning, RMIS updates, and SIS project support.
- Build and maintain strong retail partner relationships and respond promptly to business needs and requests.
- Compile, maintain, and analyze sell-in and sell-out reports for retail and travel retail accounts.
- Analyze sales performance by account, location, product category, and collection to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment, allocation, and assortment adjustments.
- Prepare quarterly assortments and maintain sell-out reporting by style and collection.
- Analyze warranty and sales data and provide actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide reporting and analytical support to Headquarters and field sales teams.
- Assist with account business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning initiatives.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and business performance against sales objectives.
- Provide visibility into inventory availability, backorders, and product launch performance.
- Partner with demand planning and sales teams on assortment launches and replenishment strategies.
- Track product introductions and identify distribution opportunities across assigned accounts.
- Manage purchase order processing, shipment coordination, and order tracking.
- Coordinate product allocations and deliveries with internal departments and external partners.
- Review and manage EDI orders, backorders, shipping timelines, and order cancellations.
- Work with Credit, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to resolve account issues and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Review chargebacks, process return authorizations, and coordinate product returns and repairs.
- Support incentive program administration and compliance tracking.
- Manage product samples, event shipments, and logistics for account initiatives and special projects.
- Provide reporting, analytical, and operational support to Regional Sales Managers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Headquarters teams to support business objectives.
- Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, operational files, and account documentation.
- Participate in projects to improve reporting, workflows, and business processes.
- Track special projects, account initiatives, training activities, and promotional program performance.
- Support customer events, meetings, and strategic initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Operate computer equipment, communicate effectively, bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs; finger dexterity is necessary.
- Travel occasionally to support account meetings, conferences, customer visits, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, account management, customer support, or related functions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
