Longines seeks a Driver and General Services Technician to support its Saint-Imier headquarters in Switzerland. This role combines executive and visitor transportation with comprehensive building and facilities maintenance, including vehicle servicing, landscaping, snow removal, pump and pneumatic systems oversight, and weekend on-call building services. The position requires a Swiss driving license (categories B and D/D1) and mechanical background, with preference for hands-on construction or vehicle maintenance qualifications.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for executive management, visitors, clients, and senior staff members as required
• Perform routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance support
• Execute exterior building maintenance including lawn care, leaf collection, and winter snow clearance
• Conduct weekly facility inspections and maintenance checks using control logs
• Oversee and maintain pumping systems, compressed air networks, vacuum lines, and water systems
• Inspect and monitor heating system installations and valve functionality
• Manage internal facility relocations and material transport
• Handle waste sorting and disposal in compliance with company standards
• Perform minor facility repairs and modifications
• Manage weekly laundry operations for service textiles and linens
• Install, replace, and modify door cylinders, keys, and locking systems
• Participate in emergency response teams including fire safety and first aid
• Provide on-call building services during weekends
• Support snow removal operations during winter months
• Distribute specialized products to various departments

Qualifications

• Swiss driving license categories B and D/D1
• CFC (Certificat de Formation Continue) or equivalent qualification in construction or building trades
• Alternatively, recognized training and certification in vehicle mechanics
• 3 to 5 years of confirmed professional experience in facility maintenance, building services, or related technical fields
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Outlook
• Knowledge of Bosch vehicle diagnostic systems (advantageous)

Experience

3 to 5 years of confirmed professional experience in building maintenance, facilities management, vehicle servicing, or equivalent technical services role.

Education

CFC (Swiss vocational certificate) in construction or building trades, or equivalent recognized qualification. Vehicle mechanics training is an acceptable alternative.
