Longines (Swatch Group) seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Paris, France — permanent role supporting boutique operations and sales in a department store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in day-to-day operations of a Longines boutique located in a department store, ensuring premium customer service and adherence to brand standards.
- Coach, motivate and schedule sales staff; conduct on-the-floor training to elevate product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Drive sales performance and conversion through active clienteling, VIP service and targeted upselling initiatives.
- Maintain visual merchandising and presentation in line with Longines guidelines and departmental store directives.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, transfers and regular reconciliations to minimise shrinkage.
- Manage cash handling, point-of-sale procedures and end-of-day reporting with strict compliance to internal controls.
- Coordinate after-sales service requests and liaise with the brand's service teams to ensure timely repairs and warranty handling.
- Represent the boutique at regional meetings and deliver accurate sales and KPI reporting to the Store Manager and regional management.
Qualifications
- Proven background in luxury retail, preferably within watches, jewelry or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience with a track record of meeting sales targets and developing staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with VIP clientele and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational aptitude and numeracy for inventory, cash reconciliation and basic P&L awareness.
- Flexible availability including weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods; legal right to work in France.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years in luxury retail with at least one year in a supervisory or assistant-manager role; direct experience with watches or jewellery boutiques is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; post-secondary qualification in retail management, commerce or hospitality is desirable.
