The Wholesale Controller joins Loewe’s Finance team in Madrid, reporting to the Wholesale & Digital Controlling Manager. The role supports local and worldwide financial control across Wholesale and E-concession, including monthly closing, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting; this is a temporary, full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing for the local company with the Accounting team on sales matters, analyzing variances, reviewing the P&L for Sales, Margin and OPEX across Wholesale and E-concession, calculating accruals and providing qualitative commentary.
- Collaborate with other entities, including the US and APAC, and complete monthly consolidations to build the worldwide P&L for both channels.
- Support ad hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders, including spend analysis, regional activity tracking for CAPEX, Marketing and Staffing expenses, and monthly closing presentations for executive management.
- Work closely with business teams and provide analytical support, including financial modeling for new store openings.
- Coordinate budgeting activities and prepare local P&L forecasts during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Participate in transformation projects involving Anaplan, Esker and Power BI.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Controlling/FP&A positions; 3–5 years of experience is indicated, and Retail experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented, highly analytical and organized.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is positively valued.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Proactive approach and ability to work to tight deadlines.
