LOEWE seeks Visual Merchandising Manager for Italy & Central Europe, Milan. Lead regional VM strategy and execution across luxury boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage VM execution across Italian and Central European markets (Germany and Austria), ensuring all stores align with LOEWE's global visual direction and luxury standards
  • Report directly to the Head of VM for Europe, with full accountability for regional visual strategy and day-to-day implementation
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Merchandising, and Marketing functions, communicating VM strategy and planning on a regular cadence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the retail network through frequent in-store visits (approximately 80% of working time), ensuring adherence to global LOEWE VM standards
  • Oversee bi-weekly product rotations for all stores and schedule weekly remote store walkthroughs for locations with less frequent in-person visits
  • Deliver strategic VM solutions that respond to regional business needs, market dynamics, specific client segments, seasonality, and product focus areas
  • Coordinate and execute all visual projects for the region, including in-store product launches, window installations, store openings, pop-ups, and external collaborations, aligned with global creative concepts and seasonal strategies
  • Partner with Merchandising on seasonal planning, rotation strategies, and inventory rebalancing initiatives
  • Organize and deliver comprehensive VM training programmes for store teams, including guidelines training, new staff inductions, and ongoing VM principles education
  • Provide regular market updates and strategic recommendations to the EMEA VM Director, ensuring complete visibility and alignment on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the wider EMEA VM team on key projects, launches, and openings to ensure cohesive regional execution
  • Demonstrate flexibility, business acumen, and adaptability in responding to evolving business priorities and growth opportunities
  • Manage an irregular schedule including frequent travel across Italy, Germany, and Austria, overnight commitments, and flexible working hours as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, business school qualification, or equivalent professional experience in Visual Merchandising or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within luxury or premium fashion
  • Demonstrated expertise managing VM across both Ready-to-Wear and Accessories categories
  • Clear brand affinity with LOEWE's product philosophy, creative direction, and luxury positioning
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with a sophisticated understanding of luxury Visual Merchandising standards and best practices
  • Natural creativity and strong visual sensibility with a refined eye for composition, spatial design, and product presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities with the ability to build effective partnerships across functions and organizational levels
