Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the regional merchandising strategy across all product categories, aligning the global collection vision with commercial opportunities in the Americas.
  • Develop and manage multi-year line planning, regional pricing architecture and assortment frameworks to strengthen brand desirability and commercial performance.
  • Own category P&L drivers for Retail in the United States and Canada, including sales, margin, inventory productivity and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor sales and inventory performance to optimize allocation, assortment and replenishment in partnership with Planning and Supply Chain.
  • Serve as the regional voice of the client by capturing market insights, emerging trends and competitive dynamics to inform global product evolution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, CRM and Retail leadership to ensure cohesive product storytelling and elevated client experiences across touchpoints.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing merchandising organization; set priorities, foster accountability and build bench strength.
  • Establish clear feedback loops between Americas and central teams (Paris, Madrid) to ensure alignment and timely market input.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive merchandising leadership within fashion, accessories, footwear or luxury retail.
  • Proven track record managing multi-category product strategies within a direct retail business model.
  • Experience partnering with global design and merchandising teams in an international organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client and market insights into actionable merchandising strategies that drive sales and margin.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience building and developing cross-functional, high-performing teams.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 250,000 to USD 275,000 per annum.
