LOEWE Transport & Customs Specialist role in Getafe, Madrid. Manage import/export operations and customs compliance for luxury leather goods—fluent Spanish and English required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise import and export processes for international shipments
- Prepare, review, and validate customs documentation and compliance records
- Coordinate clearances with customs agents, freight forwarders, and official regulatory bodies
- Ensure full compliance with national and international customs regulations
- Perform tariff classification of goods using HS codes and TARIC databases
- Manage certificates of origin, Incoterms, and applicable customs regimes
- Resolve customs incidents and oversee follow-up on inspections and audits
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory and normative information
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of professional experience in customs management
- Formal training or certification in International Trade or Logistics
- Expert knowledge of Spanish and European customs regulations
- Proficiency with TARIC, intra-community VAT procedures, and Incoterms
- Fluent Spanish and English language proficiency
- Demonstrated analytical and organisational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
