Team Leader position at LOEWE South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. $28–$32/hr, full-time retail management role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager with day-to-day management of the sales team, ensuring adherence to LOEWE standards and procedures
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Store Operations Manager
- Lead by example on the sales floor, mentoring Client Advisors on standard processes and best practices
- Execute keyholder responsibilities including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure sales team members optimize their time during slower periods while maintaining task completion to LOEWE quality standards
- Partner with Store Director and Store Operations Manager to maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the store
- Conduct weekly meetings with Client Advisors to review sales projections and provide strategic mentorship on sales penetration and revenue growth
- Demonstrate confidence and skill in conflict resolution with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Client Advisors with customer interactions and provide elevated service when necessary
- Lead executive tours, VIP experiences, and VIC client visits with knowledgeable commentary on artwork, collections, and brand heritage
- Collaborate with back-of-house team to ensure accurate consignment processing, inventory organization, and timely shipment of merchandise
- Complete all administrative procedures related to consignments, distance orders, stylist agreements, and related transactions
- Develop and execute personal client business while driving team performance to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Support Store Management in deploying training and professional development initiatives to all Client Advisors
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a retail environment
- 2+ years' demonstrated experience in a supervisory or department manager role
- Proven track record of driving positive customer interactions and client relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities
- Flexibility to work a full retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively
- Familiarity with luxury retail operations and customer service standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Demonstrated success in building and mentoring high-performing sales teams, driving sales performance, and maintaining exceptional client experiences in a luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or post-secondary retail/business education preferred.
