LOEWE seeks a Store Manager in Sapporo, Japan to lead boutique operations, develop the team and drive exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational, hands-on leadership and daily coaching to the retail team to achieve and exceed commercial targets and personal development goals.
  • Recruit, develop and retain talent; build succession plans and deliver tailored individual development programmes.
  • Lead the selling ceremony on the shop floor, ensuring exemplary client service and a consistent, high-quality client experience across all touchpoints.
  • Drive client acquisition and retention through proactive clienteling, data capture optimisation and strategic use of CRM tools.
  • Analyse store performance and market trends; define and implement action plans to maximise category potential and commercial opportunities.
  • Own store operations: inventory accuracy, visual standards, health & safety compliance, grooming standards and FOH/BOH coordination.
  • Ensure flawless adoption of retail tools and processes, and maintain store facilities to luxury brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading a luxury retail boutique or multi-disciplinary retail team, with demonstrable commercial results.
  • Minimum five years' relevant experience in luxury retail, including people management and P&L accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead with empathy and foster an inclusive team culture.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen, analytical rigour and capability to translate insight into actionable plans.
  • Deep interest in fashion, art and culture, and a thorough knowledge of product and category dynamics.
  • Client-centric mindset with commitment to surpassing client expectations and enhancing brand loyalty.

Experience
