Loewe Store Director in Tokyo: Lead flagship store or multi-boutique network with strategic oversight of sales, teams, and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction and performance of flagship store(s) or multi-boutique network, translating Maison vision into actionable commercial and operational plans
- Drive sales, profitability, client development, and operational excellence while identifying growth opportunities through market and client insights
- Supervise and develop Store Managers, Team Managers, and wider leadership teams; foster a client-centric, high-performing culture with focus on talent succession planning
- Build and maintain partnerships with department store stakeholders to maximize brand performance and ensure compliance with both department store requirements and Maison standards
- Elevate clienteling standards and client experience across all stores; build strategic relationships with VICs and key clients to drive high-value segment growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, CRM, Merchandising, Marketing, PR, Visual Merchandising, HR, and Operations teams to ensure consistent execution of brand initiatives
- Lead impactful client events and activations to strengthen brand loyalty and presence in the local market
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, client behavior, and market trends; provide regular reporting on sales, clients, people, and operations to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail leadership, store management, or equivalent retail operations
- Proven track record of delivering sales and profitability targets in high-end retail environments
- Strong experience managing multi-site operations or flagship store environments
- Demonstrated excellence in team leadership, talent development, and succession planning
- Proficiency in client relationship management and VIC/key account development in luxury retail
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury retail, store operations, or equivalent roles. Proven success managing flagship stores, multi-boutique networks, or large-scale retail teams in competitive luxury markets.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion Management, or equivalent discipline preferred.
