LOEWE Amsterdam seeks a temporary full-time Stock Keeper to manage back-of-house inventory, deliveries and stockflow for its fashion & leather goods boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the stockroom to the highest organisational standards, ensuring merchandise is stored clearly to enable efficient flow between back and front of house.
- Receive and check deliveries against invoices; report and resolve any discrepancies with HQ/Inventory teams.
- Unpack and correctly place incoming stock into designated locations, safeguarding product condition.
- Manage transfers of stock to and from the store and coordinate returns to the warehouse.
- Support stock flow and packaging between back and front of house to ensure appropriate product availability on the shop floor.
- Inform the store team promptly of new arrivals and support merchandising requests from Visual, Merchandising and Press teams.
- Plan and support periodic and ad-hoc stock takes; investigate and communicate variances to the Manager.
- Process all stock-related paperwork, reports and administrative tasks accurately.
- Coordinate aftersales processes (repairs, alterations) to uphold an excellent client experience.
- Participate fully in store activities including morning briefings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' relevant experience in inventory, stockroom or back-of-house retail operations; experience within fashion or luxury retail preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting individual objectives and contributing to team outcomes.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and confident communicator able to influence cross-functional colleagues.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary store team.
- Fluent in English.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years' hands-on experience in stockroom, inventory control or back-of-house retail operations; prior exposure to luxury or fashion retail environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent required; vocational qualification in logistics, retail operations or inventory management is advantageous.
