Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and global growth strategy for the Women's Bags category
  • Analyze category performance to identify risks and opportunities, optimizing sales, margin, and stock efficiency
  • Define and execute action plans including stock rebalancing, product allocation, incentives, and visual merchandising alignment across regions
  • Gather and consolidate market insights, competitive intelligence, and consumer trends to anticipate business needs
  • Lead buying, assortment, and end-to-end product lifecycle management for the category
  • Build seasonal purchase and allocation plans aligned with brand vision, category strategy, and financial targets
  • Lead global seasonal buying processes including pre-buy, editing, regional consolidation, and key document validation
  • Define optimal assortments per region, ensuring alignment with client needs and commercial performance
  • Drive sales planning assumptions in collaboration with the Sales Planning team to improve forecast accuracy
  • Anticipate business risks and proactively challenge regions to ensure achievement of global targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Sales Merchandising or equivalent roles within luxury or premium fashion
