Sales and Business Planning Manager at LOEWE in New York. $115–$125K annually. Lead strategic planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization for luxury fashion retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead regional best estimate planning across gender, category, and seasonality to support Open-to-Buy and weekly performance tracking
- Manage monthly SKU-level sales planning in Anaplan for permanent and carryover categories with detailed variance analysis
- Partner with central Business and Sales Planning team to review plan revisions and identify key performance drivers
- Measure forecast accuracy and proactively identify opportunities and risks impacting future performance
- Monitor stock availability against sales plans and escalate potential business impacts in a timely manner
- Deliver detailed category performance analysis and reporting to support informed commercial and inventory decisions
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams to drive sales in permanent and carryover business
- Translate central Open-to-Buy into store-level plans by gender and seasonality for seasonal buying sessions
- Build by-SKU plans in Anaplan aligned with Open-to-Buy to support seasonal purchases
- Prepare and present permanent and carryover plans with stakeholder alignment and executive sign-off
- Own planning and execution support for Outlet business and Family Sale activities
- Project end-of-season stock levels and identify gaps relative to sales plans and inventory targets
- Execute regional end-of-season pricing and promotional strategies to optimize topline performance and inventory
- Manage sales planning and order placement for licensed fragrances through Loewe Perfumes across US and Canada
- Serve as regional key user for reporting development and training in Power BI and Excel
- Act as primary liaison with central Supply Chain on Power BI rollout initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of planning experience in a commercial or supply chain environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI Desktop
- Hands-on experience with report building, data modeling, and DAX development
- Experience with Anaplan and luxury retail operations (preferred)
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to translate data into clear commercial insights
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory dynamics, forecasting methodologies, and retail performance levers
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholders and planning horizons
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven capability to manage complexity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborative and proactive mindset with strong commercial acumen and sense of ownership
