Loewe is hiring a full-time Retail Team Leader in Hangzhou to lead the store team, drive sales and client development, develop team capabilities, and oversee product, client experience and inventory operations. The role partners with the Store Manager, visual merchandising team and operations team to support excellent service, store presentation and operational compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the store team to deliver an exceptional client experience and expert product service, develop talent through training, drive business growth and sales results, and retain existing clients while acquiring new ones.
  • Understand VIP clients’ needs and present products with expertise to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Recruit clients through social, events and other channels.
  • Develop client relationships with commercial acumen and propose practical sales improvements to drive sustained performance and long-term brand growth.
  • Lead, motivate and support team members in achieving store performance targets, unlocking their potential and ensuring an excellent client experience.
  • Identify team training needs and ensure each member has appropriate opportunities for growth and development.
  • Participate in regular performance reviews, provide feedback and support team members’ continued progress and success.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the store’s product range, including product features, benefits and trends.
  • Oversee the team’s product categories to ensure optimal stock levels and presentation.
  • Set and drive team sales targets, develop effective sales strategies and improve performance continuously.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and visual merchandising team to optimise store layout and product placement and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Tell engaging brand stories to clients.
  • Lead the team in conveying the brand’s craftsmanship and heritage throughout the sales journey.
  • Monitor client feedback and continually improve service details within the role’s remit to increase satisfaction.
  • Establish measurable client-experience indicators and foster a client-centric brand culture.
  • Use client-service tools effectively, helping the team leverage them for business growth and identifying training needs promptly.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to analyse root causes of service issues and develop solutions for outstanding client service.
  • Work with the Store Manager to coach the team in implementing initiatives that improve the client experience.
  • Coordinate operational processes with the operations team, including goods receipt and dispatch, inventory management and efficient workflow maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and welcoming team environment that attracts and retains long-term client relationships.
  • Ensure the team complies with company policies, procedures and local laws and regulations.
