Perfumes Loewe seeks a Retail Marketing Manager in Shanghai to lead retail marketing strategy, omnichannel campaigns, in-store activation, budget and ROI management, stakeholder partnerships, and team development. The role requires 5–7 years of relevant retail marketing experience and fluent spoken and written English; it is full-time and office-based.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop annual retail marketing strategies, campaign calendars, and seasonal promotion roadmaps aligned with brand objectives and financial targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitors’ retail activities, and consumption habits to optimize retail marketing tactics.
- Translate global brand guidelines into localized, executable retail marketing plans.
- Lead the design, launch, and execution of retail marketing activities, annual gifting mechanics and offers, KCP activities, store-opening events, and offline consumer activations.
- Oversee in-store marketing standards, including POS materials, in-store visual merchandising, and promotional setups, to maintain a unified brand image across retail touchpoints.
- Localize brand-moment campaign templates for regional market needs, ensuring high-quality execution and local relevance.
- Align retail marketing with sales KPIs, including store traffic, conversion rate, average basket value, and monthly and annual retail revenue targets.
- Manage the retail marketing budget, allocate resources across campaigns and regions, and control cost efficiency.
- Track campaign performance after launch; analyze sales lift and marketing ROI; and deliver regular data reports, insight summaries, and optimization recommendations.
- Serve as the key liaison between HQ marketing, sales teams, the retail team, BPC, and external agencies and vendors.
- Coordinate internal resources for production, material delivery, event execution, and post-activity reviews.
- Build and maintain stable partnerships with department stores and shopping malls.
- Ensure compliance with brand expression guidelines and internal processes across all DTC networks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the retail marketing team; allocate daily work; and improve team capabilities and project-delivery efficiency.
- Explore innovative retail marketing methods and offline experience improvements to strengthen customer loyalty and brand competitiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, brand management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5–7 years of retail marketing experience in FMCG, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer retail; cross-region campaign management experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in end-to-end retail campaign planning, in-store activation, budget management, and ROI analysis.
- Solid understanding of offline retail operations, the in-store consumer journey, and regional market differences.
- Familiarity with POS material management and retail brand execution.
- Strong data-analysis capability, with the ability to guide marketing decisions using sales and consumer data.
- Excellent cross-team communication, resource coordination, and project-management skills.
- Results-oriented and highly responsible, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Sensitivity to market trends and consumer preferences, with strong retail business acumen.
- Good logical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on execution abilities.
- Fluent spoken and written English.

Experience
5–7 years of retail marketing experience in FMCG, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer retail; cross-region campaign management experience is preferred.
Education
