Retail Manager UK position at luxury perfume brand in London. Lead sales growth, team development, and training across retail locations. Field-based role with travel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set and monitor yearly sales targets for each point of sale in partnership with the Senior Commercial Manager
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed national sales targets whilst analysing market trends and identifying growth opportunities
- Lead, inspire, and develop store managers and retail teams to deliver excellence across client experience, selling, operations, and visual merchandising
- Deliver and oversee comprehensive training programmes including brand inductions, product launches, customer journey mapping, and advanced selling techniques
- Partner with retail management to ensure consistent standards of excellence and luxury service delivery across all locations
- Build and strengthen partnerships with retail stakeholders and championing the brand with retailer managers
- Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and diverse workplace culture aligned with brand values
- Conduct succession planning and develop internal talent pipeline for sustainability and growth
- Support and oversee exclusive brand events and activations to enhance brand positioning
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation within retail teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an established Area or Regional Manager within luxury retail
- Proven track record in successfully opening points of sale or leading market entry initiatives
- Demonstrated success in remote team management across multiple locations
- Strong experience delivering training at all levels, from individual coaching to large-scale workshops
- In-depth understanding of the niche perfume and luxury retail market
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Must be London-based
