Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement regional retail strategy in partnership with the Vice President, Retail and Global Retail Excellence to drive profitable growth and brand coherence across the West Coast network.
  • Lead, mentor and develop store leadership teams to deliver sales, productivity and client engagement targets; instill Loewe culture and values through empathetic leadership and ongoing training.
  • Set and monitor retail KPIs (CRM, NPS, productivity, appointment and retention metrics) and deploy tactical plans to exceed global and local targets.
  • Own market analysis and competitor intelligence to inform store openings, closures, renovations and assortment strategies; recommend property and network changes to Vice President.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Visual Merchandising, HR, Inventory and Operations to ensure compelling commercial presentation, stock accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive recruitment and talent development initiatives in partnership with HR; build an ‘always hiring’ culture to attract best-in-class retail talent.
  • Ensure operational compliance with company SOPs including cash handling, inventory control, safety and security; lead biannual inventory and reconciliation processes.
  • Manage and prioritize regional rollout of initiatives, promotions and localised business plans that drive traffic, client acquisition and segmentation growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive retail experience with demonstrable leadership in store operations, people management and network development.
  • Proven experience in luxury or high-end retail; direct experience with leather goods and ready-to-wear preferred.
  • Track record of delivering sales growth and improving retail KPIs across multi-unit store networks.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience using business analytics to drive assortment, sell-through and merchandising decisions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder management skills; comfortable with public speaking and executive-level reporting.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% and internationally for up to two weeks at a time (approximately 4 times per year); flexible availability to engage across CET hours when required.
  • Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; experience with Cegid is advantageous.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of proven retail experience with a strong record in management, operations and multi-unit network expansion; prior luxury leather goods or high-end fashion experience highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
