LOEWE seeks a Merchandising Manager for Women's Bags EMEA in Madrid to drive assortment strategy and sales performance. Maternity cover, full-time temporary role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define optimal seasonal buys for stores within Open-to-Buy limits and sell-through percentage targets, including Pre-collections, Fashion Show, and Capsule collections
- Act as regional point of contact for product and merchandising information, presenting buying strategy and key initiatives to regional stakeholders
- Manage information flow to stores regarding launch plans, sell-through performance, and sales achievements, identifying store and product-level strengths and weaknesses to improve KPIs
- Conduct weekly trade reporting and ad hoc analysis supporting the Head of Merchandising
- Perform seasonal sell-in and sell-out analysis, gather direct feedback from store sales staff, and provide qualitative insights to Central Merchandising
- Develop allocation strategy by store based on historical performance and market opportunities; optimize inventory through monthly consolidation in partnership with Supply Chain
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure alignment on store needs, stock availability, and sales initiatives
- Establish effective communication processes with Store Managers and key stakeholders to align on regional merchandising vision and execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Merchandiser in leather goods or bags, preferably in luxury fashion
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is strongly preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish and additional languages are advantageous
- Demonstrated excellence in numeric and analytical capabilities with strong decision-making skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and against tight deadlines
