Merchandising Assistant position at LOEWE New York. Support merchandising operations, reporting, and special projects. $20/hour temporary role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly reporting duties and merchandising analysis as directed
  • Assist with daily merchandising responsibilities, including building, editing, and creating buybooks; manage product lifecycle processes
  • Assist in elaborating merchandising and training seasonal tools
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to track launch dates, client reservations, and project deadlines
  • Support merchandising communications with retail teams and provide product knowledge materials
  • Provide support in preparing buying sessions for the merchandising team
  • Execute special projects as directed, including new store openings and store visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in fashion, business, or related field, or minimum two years of related professional or internship experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); prior experience with Microstrategy and CEGID preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for the fashion and luxury goods industry
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with evolving deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to take initiative
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work across global and local teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent work ethic and multitasking ability

Experience

Minimum 2 years of related work or internship experience. Prior experience in the luxury or fashion business is advantageous. Must be available for in-office attendance as required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is USD 20 per hour.
