LOEWE seeks Material Control Intern in Barcelona for 6-12 month internship supporting RTW production and supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate reception and transport of fabrics; support procurement team in merchandise receipt and goods transportation from origin to destination, including implementation of new transport management app
- Monitor and follow up on external quality control of fabrics to ensure timely receipt and inspection
- Prepare and maintain production follow-up files and documentation
- Generate and analyze supplier KPIs tracking lead times, volume metrics, and quality performance
- Perform back-office tasks including code maintenance and order clean-up
- Collaborate with warehouse team to identify and manage deadstock for resale or disposal
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in studies that permit internship agreement (convenio de beca) with university
- For EU citizens: valid student NIE required; for non-EU citizens: valid working permit required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel expertise mandatory
- Interest in fashion and culture with career aspirations in supply chain or logistics
Skills
Experience
Beginner level; no prior professional experience required. Interest in supply chain or logistics sectors is preferred.
Education
Currently enrolled in relevant university program (fashion, business, supply chain, logistics, or related discipline).
